I’ve been bringing them my cars for about 5+ years always very good service. Did my engine for a 07 Honda accord about 4 years ago it’s still running like a champ. I really appreciate these guys. This time I just bring my 19 Camry for regular maintenance 100% recommended

Right off the bat they had higher than expected pricing ($400 for a normal check-up which is absurd). Since I was there I decided to try them out since they have such good reviews. I just needed a routine maintenance on my car and mentioned that two of my lights were out and that I needed them replaced as well (which I think would typically be part of routine maintenance anyways). When I returned a few days later to pick the car up, I paid and as soon as I got home I noticed the lights hadn’t been replaced and were still out. I went back again to ask them about it and they just sort of shrugged (?). They kept the car another day AND then charged me extra for that work. After taking extra time off work to go back and forth and considering the already high price for the standard maintenance, it's ridiculous that I paid an EXTRA $60 for just lights. Turns out they also didn't rotate my tires which I specifically asked for so to be honest I don't know what they charged me for. Go somewhere else. This place just wants to take your money and do awful work

I bought my first vehicle used this year. During this process, I got a pre-purchase inspection performed by Huy here. A month later, I came back to get my brakes, rotors, and sway bars replaced, and also got an alignment. In total, this cost me around $1100. I’ve found these folks to be friendly, easy-going, and trustworthy. They have a “no frills” auto shop feel, where they just want to tell you the straight truth about your car and do solid business with you. I was never upsold on any service that I didn’t need - in fact, I was talked out of doing some repairs I’d come in wanting to do, because the mechanics told me that the repair wasn’t strictly necessarily, and that my car would run fine and I could save money by delaying that repair. I cherish places that are this honest. I got an initial quote by them for the services I was looking to do (brake & rotor replacement, front control arm replacement) and shopped around with various auto shops in the bay, as well as looked up OEM parts online. MCD’s price was hard to beat - other shops were quoting as much as 2X more. In the end, I went with them and I’m glad I did. They did the repair promptly, and my car has been running great since. The only small criticism I have is that their mechanics have quite a thick accent, so it can be difficult to understand them at times. They are super friendly and patient at explaining everything by about your car to you! But I only end up understanding about half of it due to the heavy accent. This is something I think just takes getting used to, but even with the language barrier, I feel that this is a solid auto shop.

I arrived at MCD Auto Services without an appointment or prompt and they were super responsive and immediately helped this lady out. Unbeknownst to me, I had a screw in my tired! Ugh! They got me fixed up and on the rode within 20 minutes, as they recognized my distress. These people were full of empathy for my situation, timeframe and even ordered 2 affordable tires for me! Customer service was excellent! Love them! Next time you have a care or tire emergency, call or stop by this shop! I am so impressed!
