🔧 AAA San Jose Brokaw Commons Car Care Plus

The most ridiculous and overpriced service I’ve ever heard of in my entire life. All I needed done was to replace my spark plugs and ignition coils and they were claiming the coils were going to cost $787 for four (I found them online through AutoZone for $252) and $900 for four spark plugs that should cost $10.99 a piece!! Not only did they charge me $204 to tell me what I already told them was wrong with the vehicle, but then they wanted to charge me an additional $1821 to replace the coils and plugs… Keep in mind the vehicle I was having serviced is a Nissan Altima.. Dan, the person at the front desk that was “helping” me out seemed to be pretty nice and understanding at first, but once I told him I wasn’t paying $1800+ for a $400 job he became very cold and rude. When I had questions for him, he didn’t want to answer them, wouldn’t give me clear answers on the costs of things, wouldn’t explain to me why they were trying to charge me $900 for spark plugs, etc. I initially had AAA towing me to a local auto shop to do the work, but the representative on the phone that called to confirm pick up convinced me to go to this shop and saying yes was the worst mistake I could have possibly made. I’ve never left a review for a company before and I’ve never planned on ever leaving one. That should give you a good idea of how morally corrupt I feel this company is. This service is an absolute scam and I’m convinced Dan was trying to pocket $800 in commission for trying to overcharge me on some $10 parts…

My experience with renewing car registrations( so far) has been wonderful. Yesterday Angelina helped me- she went above and beyond. She was very patient, pleasant and professional . The check-in process also has been very smooth. I am always greeted by an associate who is very polite and professional ( yesterday was no exception). I will definitely recommend this place for their DMV services.
