Went to Rey’s as a walk-in to change my muffler and exhaust tip. I didn’t get his name but a gentleman took me in as a walk-in at 9:30 which was much appreciated . The service itself was quick and informative especially after listening to what I wanted. There is a small sectioned off waiting area with a nice leather couch to wait while your vehicle is being worked on . It’s a brick and mortar, family friend type of atmosphere. Also, pricing is competitive and fair given the circumstances. I have a 2006 V8 4 runner and wanted to hear it growl just a little bit more. This place definitely helped me out.

I wanted a resonator delete to make my car sound a bit deeper. Found Rey Mufflers on Google, saw the great reviews, and gave them a call. Daniel said “bring it in today”—super easy. They did an amazing job, paid great attention to detail, and really made you feel comfortable that the job would be done A1. Even the manager in the office was super helpful and friendly. 10/10 service—I’m definitely coming back and referring friends.

WARNING: Do Not Take Your Car Here! My car was severely damaged by this shop, and they refused to take responsibility, leaving me with an inoperable vehicle and over $1,500 in expenses. The head mechanic, Daniel, is unprofessional and refuses to take accountability. If you care about your car, avoid this place. Photos and full story below: I initially brought my car in for a simple exhaust leak repair. When Daniel (the head mechanic) attempted to drive it onto the lift, the exhaust got caught on the machine. Despite my warning, he kept driving, ripping off the entire exhaust, snapping my O2 sensor, and cracking my bumper. He showed no concern, and the manager, though initially apologetic, only offered a $100 discount on the repair for the damage they caused. They tried to blame the “incident” on my car being lowered and while my car is lowered, it is not “slammed” by any means. Additionally, this shop specializes in sports exhausts and frequently works on lowered cars. At the time, I was the only car in the shop and yet they chose to use the one lift that had a crossbar section, which is what the exhaust got snagged on, when two other more suitable lifts were available. I wasnt sure if this was just a slip up on Daniel’s part but based on his apathetic attitude, it seemed more like negligence and a lack of care. After negotiating, they agreed to fix the exhaust for free but refused to address the bumper damage. I reluctantly accepted just to be done with it. When they finished and I was getting ready to drive away, I noticed my dashboard (which was previously clear) was lit up with a variety of warning lights including the check engine, ABS, traction control, and even a transmission error. When I notified Daniel, he immediately became defensive, falsely claimed the lights were already on, and even accused me of trying to scam them for free work. Rather than resolving the issue, he childishly stormed off, leaving the manager and another mechanic to try and help. They assured me the car was “fine to drive” and suggested I get a second opinion elsewhere. I was too fed up to argue and it was getting late so I decided to take it to my usual mechanic. However, when I tried to drive off, the car moved 2 feet then died completely. Despite clear evidence that my car was now inoperable, Daniel STILL denied any responsibility, claiming it was a “crazy coincidence”. After all that had happened, he continued to deny any fault and to blame me saying that my car was “broken to begin with.” Eventually, I had to tow the car away at my own expense. When my personal mechanic inspected it later, he discovered several fried components, including blown fuses—likely due to the shop’s failure to disconnect the battery before welding or their botched attempt to repair the O2 sensor with electrical tape. I've since spent over $1500 fixing the damage they caused and am still dealing with damaged exhaust components to this day. Daniel’s unprofessionalism, immaturity, and refusal to take responsibility is unacceptable. I came to this shop based on good reviews, but if this is how they treat customers, stay far away. Instead, I recommend Classic Muffler Services Center—Andy and his team actually know what they’re doing. Note: The manager and one other mechanic were very kind and professional and did their best to help, but unfortunately, Daniel's negligence overshadows the entire experience. One bad employee can ruin a entire business’s reputation.
