If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience at Calderon’s Tires on Monterey Road was one of the most frustrating and shady I’ve had when dealing with auto shops. Me and a friend went in to get a simple alignment done — nothing complicated, just a routine service. But as soon as we started asking about pricing, things felt off. They quoted us $200 for the alignment, which blew my mind. I’ve been to Calderon’s before with a different car and paid way less for the exact same service. So I knew right away that something was wrong. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of us just because we didn’t act like we knew better. That’s what it was — a straight-up price gauge. To make things even worse, they didn’t give us a printed receipt or a proper quote. Instead, they literally wrote the price down on a little note, like they were trying to avoid leaving a paper trail. When we tried to confirm the price with the lady at the front desk, she disagreed with what the mechanic had just told us and acted like it had never been said. No communication, no consistency, and no accountability — just shady behavior all around. It honestly felt like they were making up prices on the spot and hoping we’d just go along with it. I’ve heard of shops like this, but I didn’t expect it from a place I’ve been to before. There was no honesty, no integrity — just a clear attempt to overcharge and confuse the customer. Thankfully, we didn’t fall for it. We decided to take the extra 5-minute drive down Monterey Road to Elite Tires and Custom Wheels, and the difference was like night and day. Their service was professional, the pricing was clear and fair, and they didn’t play any games. The same alignment cost much less than what Calderon’s tried to charge — and they actually printed a quote, explained everything, and stood by their word. Bottom line: Calderon’s Tires is NOT a trustworthy shop. They constantly change their prices, they’re disorganized, and the way they operate feels deliberately misleading. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you’re considering going here, do yourself a favor — drive a little farther down the street and get treated right by a shop that actually respects its customers. Never coming back here again.

Stoked on these guys! Called comparing prices for an alignment after a couple other places and they not only had the best price, they were able to get me in immediately. I made it there within 15 minutes and they took good care of my truck. Handles so much better now and I will be going back any time I need an alignment moving forward

I had a nail in my tire and needed it fixed urgently, on a Sunday. I called probably 15 different places. Either nobody wanted to help or had no availability. My coworker recommended me here and I’m pleased! Waited about 20 minutes and they had my car done in less than 10 minutes. Very fair pricing too. $25 to remove nail and patch it up.

Stopped by to take care of a screw on my rear driver side tire. Everyone was busy, waited around 5 minutes, was asked if I wanted a patch or a plug, opted for the patch and 10 minutes later y was on my way! Cost - $35 Attentive and efficient!

Came in because I had a nail, ended up leaving with a scratched wheel. They didn’t want to admit that it was their fault and still made me pay $35 for nail patch. Wheel is powder coated which should chip this easily unless something is hitting it. They said it wasn’t their equipments fault but what a coincidence that the chip is also where the chalk is marked.
